The completed project focused on implementing the DC Optimal Power Flow (DCOPF) technique while considering active power losses in the Russian power system. By incorporating active power loss calculations into the optimization process, this project aimed to enhance the efficiency and reliability of power flow management. The project successfully improved the accuracy of power flow calculations, optimized power generation and transmission, and minimized active power losses within the Russian power system. The completion of this project represents a significant advancement in optimizing power system operations, reducing energy wastage, and enhancing overall grid performance in Russia.
